  3. fakepoetry on March 4th, 2010

oh well. i mean folk can be cool too. there’s no such thing as bad anarchist folk punk. i can appreciate that.

  4. Beck436 on March 4th, 2010

I was commenting on the exchange going on there with that other person about playing instruments.

most of the time i’m not a punk rock kind of guy. it’s typically acoustic or folk rock for me, but i can appreciate garage punk kinda stuff usually.

  5. fakepoetry on March 4th, 2010

uh…why are you interested. because i absolutly want to write and play punk rock for a living. no but seriously that’d be awesome.

so, its 4:14 am, im trying to fall asleep and i usually like to play btmi songs in my head to drift me off but all i gots is asob and thats fine and all but when i want bomb i FUCKING want bomb. so now iv abandoned all plans of sleeping cuz i have fallen in love with this band for the quadratitbillionth time in a row. im pretty homosexual for this band.

    BTMI is so awesome.
Can’t wait until they’re back in CT.

  10. Evilucas on March 4th, 2010

Agreed. Besides, really, if people actually give a shit about the band, they’ll go to the show. Whether it’s a house show, or a venue, or a huge festival, or whatever. If they really give a shit about the band they’ll go see them. No reason in playing for a bunch of hipsters who are just going to fold their arms and play around on their cell phones while looking bored.

    That’s the coolest shirt ever.

  12. andyosully55 on March 4th, 2010

im simply saying he could pull bigger crowds if he wanted to. more people should be able to enjoy the show

  13. fakepoetry on March 4th, 2010

i sing and play guitar. mostly sing. you should live near me i need a drummer bad.

  14. ghettoflavaboy89 on March 4th, 2010

sorry, but i think i missed the point where punk rock became about pulling in “crowds in the triple digits”.

i dont think he cares about that, and quite rightly so. small shows are incredibly intimate, and i feel like at least the occasional small show and legitimate punk rock go hand in hand. punk rock, to me, and what i feel is portrayed by rosenstock in his music, is about banding together with close friends for a real cause, not for playing to “crowds in the triple digits”. just sayin’

  15. andyosully55 on March 4th, 2010

    drums. you play anything?

  16. fakepoetry on March 4th, 2010

what instrument do you play. or which. whatever.

  17. andyosully55 on March 4th, 2010

that’s fair. it’s your opinion on punk rock. and yes i do

  18. fakepoetry on March 4th, 2010

he is really good, but idk if that’s what it’s about. no offense. do you play in a band at all?

  19. andyosully55 on March 4th, 2010

he should because he has a lot of talent

  20. Whinesilencer on March 4th, 2010

I don’t think he cares much

  21. pdxskatastic on March 4th, 2010

  22. shinynewjb on March 4th, 2010

  23. totaled4life on March 4th, 2010
